First Yule Feast

December 1, 2007 was the night of our first Yule Feast. Mirella, Gerald, and Cristiana attended the Barony of Glymm Mere’s Yule Feast which was held only a block from our home. It was a snowy evening and we were able to walk to the feast through the snow.

This was a picturesque served feast and masked ball. The glow of candles warmed the festive hall while snow fell outside. We were fortunate to share a table with friends Cyriac, Annalise (Drifa), Corey, Nettie, & Adakan.

We all wore garments in red, black, and gold to celebrate the Yule season. Mirella is wearing another outfit I made for her. Some of the first things I learned in terms of patterning and fabric choices.

What a splendid evening.
