A 'Hole' New Opportunity

So, this is a first. I've actually worn a hole in one of my ruffled veils. This is right where my circlet sits on my head. Now I must consider the best way to repair this.

At first, when I saw this little hole, I was quite sad. But now I am actually excited thinking about how to repair or recycle this ruffle. I have long hypothesized that ruffles would likely have been reused in the 14th and 15th centuries. And now, I am faced with the perfect opportunity for experimentation. 🙂
